Velvety-Smooth Homemade Chicken Soup

The perfect cozy meal for a cool weather day, this soup will warm your bones and melt your troubles away.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped into ½" cubes
  • 2-3 whole carrots, washed, peeled, and sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 cup egg noodles (optional)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp rosemary

Instructions
 

  • Chop chicken into ½" cubes and put into a large pot with chicken broth.
  • Chop veggies and add to the pot with the chicken and chicken broth. Add seasonings.
  • Boil chicken and veggies until chicken is cooked through and veggies are tender, about 20-30 minutes.
  • Add egg noodles, if desired. Boil until noodles are tender.
  • Slowly stir in the heavy whipping cream and condensed cream of chicken soup. Bring back to a boil.
  • Simmer to thicken to desired consistency. Serve immediately with bread of your choice.
